If they wanted to, it would only take a music theorist to write the music out to all the basslines, melodies, rhythms etc. in a track to prove this is wrong.
It's especially stupid as the genre's music, is often built on soul, R&B, jazz, gospel etc. so you're criteria would have to be extremely limited to call it not music
It seems like this clip has blown up, but tbh Shapiro, even if he doesn't like rap, probably doesn't even agree with that bullshit
