popularity =/= skill, youre arguing two diff points
but even then, look at sales and streams and compare them, youre completely wrong there too. way more ppl still listen to em
Eminem has a legion of fans that openly admit they don't f with rappers outside of em and maybe tech nine/hopsin/yelawolf...
Why are we counting them in a hip hop culture discussion
that's like expecting barbz to be in tune with hip hop (most of them aren't)
Reminder this insecure c***started beef with him cause his mid album got four mics and blamed it on his race
The Marshall Mathers LP got 2 mics at first. They changed it to 4 later on.
The white girl is Lana Rhoades, "retired" p*** star, she's 25. Kid laroi was 16 in this video. Isn't that pretty f***ing weird?
i think that age of consent is at least 16 but im just going to shut the hell up
Neither you nor NBA believe that
Ask any young black person who they prefer youngboy or Eminem and the answers will be at least 90% youngboy

White people really think their opinion and what hey listen to dictates the culture of rap. Crazy
No one gives a f*** what a White Eminem fans opinion on hip hop is😂

Benzino dissed him
I do. The culture isn’t listening to eminem in 2020. Meanwhile NBA YB got the youth on lock. Legitimately one of the best teenage rappers of all time with Nas and chief keef.
If you disagree you’re out of touch. period
MTBMB A/B out now
This why I don’t take white people on ktt opinion on music serious at all. Y’all entitlement and belief that y’all are better shows on here. No one give a f*** about Eminem and he’s been garbage since Eminem show. NBA youngboy way better
MTBMB A/B out now
That s*** trash bro. It’s 2020 man. Em was cool when I was like 10/11 years old.
The Marshall Mathers LP got 2 mics at first. They changed it to 4 later on.

Ahh you're right. I thought he was referring to the line in Say What You Say

This is true, there’s been hella times where I ask a chick or white dude if they like rap and they say “I like Eminem but that’s it”
i think that age of consent is at least 16 but im just going to shut the hell up
Yeah still, that's absolutely disgusting
all of em
Eminem: Because black girls are dumb and white girls are good chicks
!https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=Chd8VzL2soYThe girl doesn't exists either
people that went to high school with em said he was always with kim,
em said himself in a Howard stern interview he was always with kim and went to a predominantly white high school
the description of that girl doesn't fit what black girls from that era looked like :description from the song "yellow brick road"
there was this black girl...
And oh the irony guess what her name was ain't even goin' say it plus
The same color hair as hers was and blue contacts
He's hinting at a black girl with blonde hair (wig or maybe natural ) and blue eye contacts with possibly the same name :kim,
yeah right
he hides the name cuz he would've been caught in the lie easily
All we have to do is get a yearbook and see there was no such black girl at his school... + alot of black women who lived the 80s spoke out saying no one did that in the 80s (wearing blue eye contacts)
That girl would've stood out to the point people would've remembered her but no....
no person let alone a black girl has ever came forward to corroborate his story
there aren't even rumors/speculation of who that girl may be (yeah I think it was such and such) nor rumors of em paying her to shut up
SHE DOESN'T EXIST
-what most likely happened :

Said they used to-do racist rap hours
Eminem freestyle : "I don't like that nword s***, I'm just here to make a bigger hit"
Ps: the * n-word s*** freestyle is apparently from 1995
The ole foolish pride* freestyle is listed as being recorded in 1990 on genius.com
Eminem would've been 22 and 17 years old (respectively)
In his initial apology he states it was a stupid act from when he was 16.... The lies that man tells...
@Genius
Sorry for the long post but here ya go

I've read it all and gotta appreciate the effort you put into this but besides a random guy on a eminem forum i can't seem to find anything online to back it up. Instead found this MTV article which says the exact opposite of somethings said in there in regards to Chaos Kid's claims.
mtv.com/news/1484614/eminem-a-racist-sources-source-chaos-kid-says-no-way
"I am forced at this point to recognize that there are obviously some ulterior motives/personal hang-ups/political/racial agendas going on behind the scenes at The Source and this is making it impossible for you to present the issue of these tapes in a true light that would give a full spectrum of perspective."
....Chaos explains that the freestyles were called "Suckerin' Rhymes," and that they were intentionally misguided. He says their purpose was to be as "goofy/stupid/ignorant/wack as possible." He accuses The Source of making some factual errors in its reporting and failing to give his quotes proper context.
He writes of his personal experiences with Eminem during that time and says that the famous rapper never used the N-word or "any other derogatory names or made any derogatory remarks about African-Americans in casual conversation with me. In fact, we personally had conversations talking about how we hated racism and racists and both had real songs denouncing racism!!".
About the girl, well i can't find an yearbook photo of the school in 89 or wtv. Only a pic of Em's class but that is pretty much inconclusive. Hell, not even a picture of Kim can be found around that time
Again tho, i'm not excusing the tapes. Just saying that what is said on that forum should be taken with a grain of salt. As well as what Em said on yellow brick road (Since there are no evidence as well), so it's understandable how you would be sceptical about it

Royce recently couldn't back up the claim she existed and royce defends em like he's on payroll yet admitted he can't say if that was real
We know kim exists since she has done interviews, was married to em
I even remember a Howard's stern interview in which a white girl called in and said "hey we went to high school together but I couldn't get to you cuz you were always with kim" em laughed and agreed
How is he always with kim but also stopped dating her to get with a black girl for a week, that didn't look like any other black girl from that era (stood out) yet no one can corroborate she existed???
My suspicions about em's story always will remain since I have no evidence that she existed despite Eminem making a song about it- his verse is the only "proof" we have of her.
Thanks for linking that chaos kid letter but I do remember reading that and thought nothing of it after asking myself questions :
Why didn't eminem just say that these where silly freestyles?
His first pr apology was about not taking his views srsly as a teenager
The tape ... was something I made out of anger, stupidity and frustration when I was a teenager. I'd just broken up with my girlfriend, who was African American, and I reacted like the angry, stupid kid I was. I hope people will take it for the foolishness that it was, not for what somebody is trying to make it into today."
Let's go with chaos kid letters narrative : if it is a freestyle (which to me was pretty apperent) it's still a racist sentiment imo
He went from saying black people are his brotha and sista to "black girls are dumb blablabla"
No that's not a political stance, that's not you being goofy or calling out whack people/opinions
It's clear he was being racist imo, naturally at that since it's a freestyle.
Furthermore, if kid chaos had these racist tapes where are the other tapes that aren't racist but just silly, what else did they rap about? Why didn't he bring more tapes or tell us about others subjects mentioned in the freestyles ?
Why didn't Eminem back him up?
That letter seems like a pr clean up move to quell the controversy
It came out in January 2004 which is two months after the racist tape interview was published (November 2003) and a month after the lawsuit from interscope records to benzino (December 2003)
Seems like a hail Mary ^ if he was srsly concerned about how misleading that article was.... You'd think he be on it right after the article is published and caused a public frenzy....
If em's truthful about being angry at a black gf then the freestyle is not him being goofy and representing weirdo opinions -
it's closet racism at its best
Either way, em is lying/withholding the truth - there's no way around that
Saying Em never had a black gf because you can’t find proof is weird af lol it’s all assumptions to back up your hatred.
How down bad you have to be to write this much about a person you don’t like

Someone even posted that Royce never met her lmao Royce met Em years after the tapes were even made. How the f*** would he know?

Exactly. Nigga is ignoring that to get his point across.

Well why would Royce have any idea of who EM dated back in 89 (Especially "dated" for a very short period of time like Em said) when they met in 97, seems pretty natural that he doesn't have a clue. Was he asked about this anyway? Seems pretty unrelated to this
I mentioned Kim because she is the most famous person we know that link back to Em's High School and we can't find a picture of her in any yearbook s*** so not finding some random girl Em dated back in the day seems pretty possible. that was my point
"Always being with Kim" sure most of the time but from what we know of their relashionship it was clear they had issues so who's to say they didn't broke up a few times and fooled around with other people for a while. It's pretty vague
If you think the MTV article seems like a PR move, the same thing could be said about the Source's hit on EM, when we know for a fact that they had bias againts him so seems pretty fittting with what Chaos Kid said "He accuses The Source of making some factual errors in its reporting and failing to give his quotes proper context.
He writes of his personal experiences with Eminem during that time and says that the famous rapper never used the N-word or "any other derogatory names or made any derogatory remarks about African-Americans in casual conversation with me. Why didn't Em backed it up? Why would he ever want to be associated with him again after he agreed to do the source article? Besides it would be an awful PR move to give the story any more attention and explaining every detail behind it just goes into that. He apologized for the tapes.
I understand your points in this but we're both mostly assuming things here at this point. Besides i don't think neither of us care about Em or what he trully believes like that to be writting this much lmao. So i'm prob not gonna give this more thought
