It won't and could harm the exact people it's meant to protect if his plan is truly to cut government assistance in order to pay for it. 1k a month is not a fix for a deeply broken system.

No one gives a s*** about this.

Hillary is using her influence to try and take the female vote away from Bernie.

Where the f*** she get that s*** about Bernie’s supporters saying s*** about women?

The establishment is trying so hard it's sad. It's like the Epstein s***, they don't even try to hide it.

    But watch Bernie get it

Damn you're right, they would have to choose between certain assistance and 1k. Meaning it really won't do s*** for them.

They've polled people currently on welfare and 9/10 people said they would prefer UBI because it would by pass all the bureaucratic bullshit they need to go through to get assistance.

Have you ever been on welfare.?

Yeah, food stamps and section 8 in the past and it is a lot of bullshit you need to go though to get it (well my mom applied for it waaaay back), but how is having them choose between their existing benefits and 1k helping them and not keeping them in the same spot but just in more streamlined process? I'm not against UBI, but I don't think it will fix anything solely on its own nor in the way Yang is proposing.

Because welfare incentivizes people to stay below a certain income threshhold to receive benefits. If you can't see why UBI is better than you're just being willfully dense.
