He's a legend, just like I didn't mention Pacino, Nicholson, DiCaprio etc.

I love Woody but what has he done last decade that was memorable besides Tru Detective?

    Three Billboards. Rampart.

A bunch of great 'gray' area villains in things like War for the Planet of the Apes, Seven Psychopaths, Triple 9, Solo, Out the Furnace. While admittedly not all of those are top films, his performances have never been questionable.

Couple that with his versatility in being the best part of a film like Zombieland.

Jon Bernthal for all those small roles he gets that he absolutely kills.

    Dumb list

Pattinson 10 yrs ago was in twilight movies while joaquin had an oscar nom

Pattinson is a modern goat (2017 onwards) together with shia, chalamet, lucas hedges etc but he’s in a newer class

But it’s joaquin phoenix/chris bale and kinda not close. 5-4 yrs ago I wouldve said gylenhaal and hardy were giving them a run for their money but they separated distance with them imo, they’re way too elite

Also leo is f***ing overrated and both jaoquin and bale are better actors than him. Leo is like ryan goslin or brad pitt tier. A class but not S class

    Prez

Would’ve said fassbender as well 5 yrs ago was almost joaquin level but he kinda fell off

Yeah, maybe point out some significant roles or scenes, or expand on why you like that actor so much

    Mr Motion

    Jake Gyllenhall
    Chadwick Boseman
    Viola Davis
    Mahershala Ali
    Stephan James
    Lupita N’yongo
    Nicole Beharie
    Robert Downy Jr
    Chris Evans
    James McAvoy
    Rutina Westley
    Regina King
    Colman Domingo
    Kiki Layne
    Cillian Murphy
    Kerry Washington
    Sterling K. Brown
    Emily Blunt
    Margot Robbie
    Naomi Harris
    Jharrel Jerome
    Clive Owen
    Andre Holland

Jharrel Jerome is gonna be the darling of the 20s, both critically and commercially. If he picks the right roles, he‘s gonna be one of the standout actors of the decade.

Its crazy how much people overlook Ryan's talent imo. He can be vibrant and funny like in The Nice Guys and Crazy stupid love or troubled but endearing like in Blue Valentine.
Drive, Only God Forgives and BR2049 made people not only realize he can play dark roles but it also kind of hurt him cause people are under the assumption that he's more style over substance and his looks carry most of his roles

Facts tbh. Bro can do dark/brooding and goofy/funny equally well. Nice Guys was an underrated movie tbh, one of my favs from that year.
