Less focused on Putin and more on the rise of the oligarchs but Putin plays a big role in it too
Once Upon a Time in Russia by Ben Mezrich
Super easy read too it’s by the dude who wrote the book that The Social Network was based on
Looking for books on putin
He is an interesting guy
“The New Tsar” by Steven Lee Meyers. it’s a really good bio of his entire life and the background info gives you great insight to why putin rules the way he does. also shows how he’s changed a lot as a ruler since 2000 which is pretty interesting
I don't know that much about Russia or their history, but I will go down that rabbit hole.. Eventually. When I finish off my other books
I wanna read up on all the momentous world leaders in the last 100 years.
Putin
