Whatever it is, it may be the future of literature. Zadie Smith’s prediction of interactive, multimedia fiction may come true soon
letters to Wendy’s exists already which is kind of that just w the theme of Wendy’s but it’s also a bad book imo.

Anyone got any funny book recommendations
Looking for something light to read when I get the urge to use social media. Trying to redirect my attention to something more productive. Fiction or non-fiction, doesn’t matter.
Gun, With Occasional Music is a pretty absurd noir, very light (under 200 pages I think). The Locked Tomb Series is a Sci-Fi, Gothic Horror series that’s also pretty funny (and incredibly gory).

I liked Steppenwolf, but wasn’t that big of a fan of the whole magic surreal sequence tbh Maybe I just didn’t understand it. Read this book while listening to music by Gyorgo Ligeti the entire time.

Thoughts on immersion reading
i’ve seen differing opinions regarding this technique, but it has helped me so so much when it comes to meeting my reading goals/clearing up my TBR shelf.
in elementary school they let people who had a hard time reading do this. selection wasn't that great though because the audio was on cassette tapes so there wasn't a whole lot to pick from to read
