Is there a decent version of Storm Over Asia out there yet? Attempted it again yesterday but my transfer is so garbage also what is it about this film that makes you put it above Joan? Doesn't seem close even if this transfer was mint

l'argent camera work brazy, haven't seen napoleon but same cinematographer

ok ok I think Joan is a bit too one-note and I find Falconetti's performance a bit overrated tbh. However, it's definitely a great film. Probably my fourth or third favorite Dreyer.

Storm over Asia just has that energy. Probably overrating it but I really enjoyed it a lot.
