It's not that i haven't seen any older films it's just that there's like many classics that i haven't seen from the 60s for example and i'd rather go through a lot of those first before i go back any further

I know what you mean but why not dabble in both? You'll get some of the archaic references and better appreciate how far the medium has gone when you watch those 60s masterpieces if you have some frame of reference from the dusty days.

Oh yeah for sure and i try to dabble in as many eras as possible, like i said there's just soooooo much that it gets overwhelming. But my love for film will eventually get me there for sure
