The hits of the early 10s were actually songs that had to be memorable, even the lowest brow ones. You got that every once in a blue moon this decade but even then it doesn’t really live up

When you talk about S-tier iconic hits that define, there’s countless for the early 2010s. This decade? It’s Blinding Lights off the top of my head and that’s kinda it in the grand scheme

I could a 3 more list and early 2010s still sweeps the hits of today 🤷🏽‍♂️ Feel like albums today also only end up having 1 hit while many back then had multiple

10’s hands down hits haven’t hit in a while

The blog era alone should answer this. Lol

There's nowhere near as much talent on the verge of verge of mainstream success like there was from 2008-2016....does this decade really have a Big 3 yet? And are they really as successful as Drake, Kendrick and Cole were in the 2010s?

EDIT: R&B is the only other genre I listen to heavily so I can't speak on music as a whole

2010s was LEAGUES ahead of the 2020s.
