Nigga Scarface didn’t even have nothing to do with the thread lol
I did say sorry to derail for a reason..... but cube and face do go hand and hand when it comes to a lot of hip-hop. I also added i wish they had a joint album

Gonna play that one today
Something about cube’s style on that album feels like it aged better than most albums, it almost feels modern at some points
Exactly, I don’t know how to explain it either. Like it’s obvious it came out in the early 90s but it sounds modern at the same time even the predator and lethal injection sound better than a lot of the albums from that time
Probably his aggressive flows and more advanced lyricism tbh, he was head and shoulders above the comp in tbh
One of my favorite cube tracks
His style is just timeless. Perfect pronunciation, dope beats, dope lyrics, dope delivery.
Cube and Pac are my fav angry/militant rappers
Fr but Pac got much more credit for his conscious raps. As somebody already said itt

Really Doe hitting so hard rn his voice and delivery is different on this album. Might be even cleaner/better mixed. That beat
Cube so underrated i swear

First page posts by knockknockwhoisit and Juelz Shermtana explain it well.

Pac said he was sick of being compared to Ice Cube at one point lol
He was like I'm doing me and he's doing him

Fr?
Yeah interviewers kept asking him about Cube
Early in his career he did acknowledge Cube as an influence but at one point he was like this is enough

lol damn thats crazy. I know they collaborated on a song for one of Pac's early albums with Ice T, I believe it was Strictly For My Niggaz. Theres youtube videos of the studio footage. Pac is real quiet while the two Ice's are talking s*** lol Surprised to hear that. Pac and Cube together more often would've been a problem

Gotta say Lethal Injection is smooth af. The production is more G funk centered. I believe thats why people didn't like it as much as the first 3, cause people felt Cube was jumping on that popular Dre/Westcoast sound instead of doing his thing. But with the aid of time thats not a bad thing at all. Sounds timeless. When KTT debates who has the most classic albums Cube's name has to come up, no doubt.
