Keep going through this era like its surreal we got so many classic or near classic quality big albums in rap compared to the drought that we’ve gone thru in most of the time since 2016
Im starting it at 2006 and ending it in 2010 with Teflon Don, Thank Me Later and MBDTF
So albums like Kingdom Come, F&L, The Cool, Graduation, Tha Carter 3, Deeper Than Rap, Paper Trail, Cudi’s debut etc
Whats the best one from that era and why, post your favorite cuts too
I might have to go with American Gangster with Lupe’s first two and Graduation also being up there
Its too hard to choose
Id say the S tier ones from 06-09 to me are
In My Mind, Hell Hath No Fury, Graduation, American Gangster, The Cool, Below The Heavens (not really mainstream but still), Man On The Moon, Carter III
Graduation
2006-2007 something was in the water bc hella classics dropped
Thats what im saying what knocked us off that path (post c3 Wayne lmao)
