  • Gotta go with Saigon. He squandered his buzz from Entourage and his mixtapes but dude delivered with his album. It was just too late.

What other artists do you think had all the tools to succeed in the music industry but for some reason it never happened?

Is it ok if I say Banks?

He kinda blew up, and I think his debut is a classic. But still.

He blew up but he's slacker.

Even now he has fans who still want The Cold Corner 3.
And I'm one of em lol

Just another body in the Aftermath graveyard.

I f***ed with Nigga Noise and Caltroit. Dude stayed with Dre too long. Should've been bolted and tried to save his career.

  • S***, Joe Budden.

After all the attempts, he never could become the top tier MC he always thought he was

Still feel like he didn't really blew up by himself, it was kinda a G-Unit thing.

    I know it's a bad example tho.

did Gunplay from MMG really "blow up"? if not, him

  • Unforgivable

What The Games Been Missing and his feat on that Chris Brown song made Elz a star.

And he stepped out of Cam's shadow when him.and Jim basically turned their backs on him.

He just never got to the next level. Label issues, talentless crew and d**** were his downfall.

And stupidity. Like going to the airport with a gun in his luggage.

Think dude definitely had potential, really disappeared

  • I don’t agree with the Julez and Banks selections. They blew up, sure it wasn’t to the levels of Cam and 50 but they still did their thing and had hits.

wrong. he was never Ross ghostwriter. Ross has never used ghostwriters

Ross was literally a ghostwriter early in his career (slip n slide days) for people like Trick Daddy, Trina, etc

what did Gunplay in was his legal issues. Def Jam couldn't promote him while he facing down the barrel of a life sentence, right when his music was starting to take off (2013)

Listen to White House off of Port Of Miami and tell me Gunplay ain't write that.

Ik Ross wrote for a lot of Slip N Slide artists but he never had that Florida way of talking.

White House sounds exactly like Gunplay

    classic record G

i think bc Ross and Gun literally came up together especially with the whole Triple C's s***, they can sound very similar at times

its just hard for me to believe that someone like Ross needs one of his artists to ghostwrite for him

I feel you but just peep.that joint again.

I listened to it for the first time in years and it sounds like Gunplay.

I can see him giving Ross a whole song to show his worth.
