its been a while since ive enjoyed a new band and they keep being consistent with the bangers

shoegaze has a pretty wide ranging definition tbh. its not strictly shoegaze but the album is generally classified as such.

Jesu is another band which like straddles the line

they were so good too bad the british press were roasting them and hated them which affected their success

I won't lie I listened to mbv multiple times and just never liked them so I never explored it

But what I replied to is an album I used to listen to a ton, actually forgot it existed

not fully shoegaze, but it has elements of it sprinkled throughout the album

yeah i think a lot of people mainly just associate shoegaze w mbv and slowdive (for good reason tho tbh). elements of shoegaze got incorporated into a lot of other sounds and subgenres though to the extent a lot of people refer to shoegaze more as a musical technique now rather than just a genre in and of itself.

trust there are so differ flavor in shoegaze, now its even expanding into more

@op I tried not to include anything too basic like Loveless or Souvlaki songs but please listen to those albums if you're just getting into the genre
