Shippuden is when the writing started to fall off. So many characters in the first arc are disregarded, everything becomes Uchiha hax and the final arc is not good

I'm enjoying Jijitsu Kaisen so far, hoping it keeps up the momentum.
Naruto Part 1 and part 2 up to the War Arc where it gets shaky with highs and lows.

Shonen is a publisher not medium

What do you consider a shonen? FMA is good, HxH is good but definitely drags on at points. Yu Yu Hakusho is good but dated. DBZ? Nostalgic for sure but come on brothers it's ass.

Pretty much all of the big 3 are dumpster fires if you watch them to completion. Naruto and Bleach just end up ass. One Piece is a great manga but the anime is dog s*** 80% of the time.

Do you consider Attack on Titan a shonen? Probably should. That's the best shonen ever right now. Terrible ending but it is what it is. 90% of it is very good.

As for newer school: My Hero started strong but is pretty mediocre now. Demon Slayer is okay, happens to be carried by great animation. Jujutsu Kaisen is a very pure shonen that starts off strong, delivers one of the best arcs in shonen history, but has now devolved into horse s***.

Chainsaw Man Part 1 was extremely good. I'd put that right behind Attack on Titan all time. Part 2 is iffy at the moment.
