    verse 2 does go pretty hard with the papa ooh-mau-mau's but verse 1 is a contender for most annoying verse ever

    Sam Cooke cut his most consistent album in '63 over the course of just 3 nights with a tight crew of musicians (including Hal Blaine from the Wrecking Crew and 16 year old Billie Preston) where they crafted an understated sound that let Sams voice really shine (whereas alot of his previous recordings had pretty busy arrangements)
