    havent heard this in ages is this a remake of an earlier tune or his only song with that wordless hook?

    Not sure tbh it's the earliest one I have of it but I also have a version from 1976

    oh s*** apparently this 1972 Rita Lee album is actually the last Os Mutantes classic lineup album the last time she worked with Sergio Dias and Arnaldo Baptista

    they intended for it to be a Mutantes album but label wouldnt do 2 Mutantes albums in 1972. so they had Rita do all the vocals instead and put it out as her 2nd solo album. this song is solid, i gotta peep album

    Jorge Ben is goated af so thats good

    i havent heard his 1973 one yet. apparently its medley re-recordings of his 60s songs but still good

    also what the f*** how am i just finding out now that Jorge Ben wrote A Minha Menina and is apparently the fcking lead singer for it on the Os Mutantes album i didnt think it really sounded like his vocals but thats what wiki says. and he did his own version too.

    no just the songs. dont think im quite in the mood for it now but definitely gonna check next time im bumping that brit folk stuff which im due for a revisit on anyway

    buried in too much prog atm speaking of which that Arco Iris is really settling in as amazing stuff

    Albums growing on me tremendously. Definitely rivals later Fairport.
