just relistened to Neon Bible the other day and it's basically as good as Funeral. A bit underrated at this point tbh

I like it more at this point i think... Funeral is heavy on the melodrama and Neon Bible takes it down a notch while still making kick-ass songs.

I said subjectively and you wanna be a dismissive b**** and stand on your high horse.

You haven't even scratched the 21st centuries surface cause there's so much dust in your ears causing your brain to deteriorate at a more rapid pace. I'm not even dissing or taking away from the 60s/70s you ass

well maybe you genuinely need more foundation of a deep marination of all years prior to truly appreciate stuff you might not have at the time

and obviously not counting those big biases we all naturally have. like what if english music got a bit worse for the 2000s but some other big languages had crazy level ups

I know for a fact other countries were making good music but it's literally impossible to keep up everything good from my own language let alone everywhere else be realistic

Did I say I knew more from early years? Obviously not.

Everything I've been saying is subjective (because you get so panties-in-a-bunch when I don't disclaim my posts as subjective).

Is it so egregious to you that somebody out there with different listening habits than you can acknowledge the GOATness of the 60s and 70s while thinking there are some incredible years post-2000

You're the last person I'd go to for an opinion on modern stuff anyways. Your post 90s opinions have very little depth beyond thinking like 4 artists are responsible for the 15 best albums this century.

I was not criticizing your 60s knowledge or the 60s in general or saying I knew more than you. You're being weird about it for no reason you rightfully criticized my dismissal of early stuff and now I can't even personally like other years? Cmon bruh

November 2010: My Beautiful Dark Twisted Fantasy

I will personally put these 3 masterpieces up against any big 3 of any year ever.

White Album and Village Green Preservation Society came out the same day

Astral Weeks came out a week later

Electric Ladyland came out a month before that

  • Bro has gotten mad at me for not 'talking subjectively' in my posts for years and now I'm clearly talking from my own POV and personal taste and he's still trying to say I'm objectively wrong

It's my opinion. 68 is GOAT, 67 is GOAT, 70 IS GOAT.

2010 top 3 is one of my GOATs.

i know im just saying im finding it most useful to go in with that kind of open mind. instead of trying to hopelessly compare everything i like to compare the smaller pockets instead

you know that if i made some massive top songs or albums list it would be massively skewed towards older music too

(told you we'd riot if we didnt move to 1974 )
