    Exaggeration but also very true

I lived through this century and it just ain't as interesting

I mean, as time goes on, the more difficult it is to innovate at a rapid pace so I don't disagree.

But you still spent way too much time to get to the next year

Only 4 months not that long

Spent 2-3 months on each year before '65 and feel like I'm doing it properly. Could easily take 6 months.

Yeah so I should be allowed to increase my marination time as the main genres subgenres develop subgenres

I agree years like 2000, 2001, 2003, 2005, 2007, 2010, 2015, 2016 (all subjectively ofc) should be looked at as seriously as the best years in the 60s-70s, even if not shot-for-shot, but for sheer depth

    no

The amount of classic/potent songs from '67-'71 is absolutely mind boggling compared to what we been getting this century

I said subjectively and you wanna be a dismissive b**** and stand on your high horse.

You haven't even scratched the 21st centuries surface cause there's so much dust in your ears causing your brain to deteriorate at a more rapid pace. I'm not even dissing or taking away from the 60s/70s you ass

No other young person I know was checking out as much music as i was in the '00s. Way more than your average 60s or 70s music fan was in their heyday. Still doesn't seem close.

  • Have already acknowledged the insane pace of quality of the late 60s and 70s

Just tried to give credit to some really solid years in the 21st century that have incredible depth even if the highs arent as prevalent (which i acknowledge)

Elric: ( has hardly listened to f*** all past 1979) " no "

  • 2015 alone has like 15 classic hip hop albums.

well maybe you genuinely need more foundation of a deep marination of all years prior to truly appreciate stuff you might not have at the time

and obviously not counting those big biases we all naturally have. like what if english music got a bit worse for the 2000s but some other big languages had crazy level ups

just relistened to Neon Bible the other day and it's basically as good as Funeral. A bit underrated at this point tbh
