She made a big statement with this album, but after all neither most of us fans nor the general audience were here for that sound from her, we have to admit that. The album deserved more admiration!

THE was bigger than BMS in every market, the thing is CC lacks a Cuff It, a catchy song going viral chosen by the people. 16C could’ve never been that, it was the „validation“ from her side to enter this genre.

First mistake was thinking Country was "the next big thing". nobody gives af about that genre, only raunchy americans lol. Huge lack of touch from Bey's team tbh.

Anyways, I used to be really into her music before, Renaissance had some good tracks but it was also mid compared to her previous tapes.

Is this full of mid or does this have beautiful Beys vocals in R&B layering style like sandcastles or alike? .

Her signature vocal layering as all over the record like Flamenco, 2H2H, Desert Eagle, Blackbiird, Protector…

So happy this flopped. The album was so boring.

This might be my least favorite Beyoncé album, especially when compared to Renaissance, which is easily my favorite. While Renaissance was a stunning, endlessly replayable experience, this album feels more like homework than something I genuinely enjoy listening to. And yes I'd rather listen to her first 3 albums too.

Nothing wrong with country, I'm all in for all forms of art. I personally enjoy some country tracks and even corridos tumbados and other regional mexican music, for example.

BUT, this is Beyonce we are talking about. If she just wanted to drop an album then she could do it anytime as a surprise drop just like lemonade. Its obvious they took their time for this, they paid good money for the roll out and they were expecting a better reception. Lets not forget she is a mainstream artist and they have to do business.

Its clear they made this to make money and it did not work out as they expected. Its not the end of the world but it is what it is. Hopefully she drops a more sucessful tape next time.
