I get why Break My Soul was released as the lead single. Not too many songs on the album that can work as a single.

I think it’s damn good. There’s a few songs in the middle section that didn’t really click with me, but the last 4 or 5 are amazing too. Great first listen.

I think the production tries to do too much most of the time. She makes the most of it but you can also hear Bey forcing herself to match the overwhelming nature of the beats across multiple songs.

nah beyonce larger than life, she need larger than life production to balance it out

Lemonade, Rennaisance, then Self-titled. I’m going to give Renaissance more time.. but I like it as her second best. But I see them as Beyoncé’s “holy trinity” for sure.

Not necessarily and definitely not across a whole album. A dance album doesn't mean every beat has to be chaotic and it's unfortunate that most people think that. Sometimes, it's about finding one groove and sticking to that.

Still, I'm rocking with like 8 songs off this so I'm good. It's a good album.

She can afford better writters like other times.
