I love this so much but I enjoy dance music so it makes sense I do
I'm usually not a fan of dance music, but I love this album. I figured it was just my love for Bey, but my friends that don't like her love this album too.

I liked everything she is done in last decade to various degrees but this speaks to me more then anything.
I also recognise where she getting her inspiration from and she took great care in the knowledge and understanding of various genres she takes inspiration that is so refreshing from an artist of her size. I was excited when I saw artists she was working with. That’s also why I don’t mind her using well known samples
Let's hope Beyonce will accept her apology for this
This her 5th classic
Survivor, Dangerously In Love, Beyoncé, Lemonade, Renaissance
She still don’t have as many classics as Hov tho
Reasonable Doubt, Hard Knock Life Vol 2, The Blueprint, The Black Album, American Gangster, Watch The Throne, 444

She has always done her homework when it comes to recognising past talent, but this time it’s on another level. And I’m sure the whole pandemic helped with that. The way she and her team finessed these songs musically, production-wise, intros and outros, the transitions, the vocal layering/arrangements, and the possibility we get two more albums curated with this much determination

Fine-Tuning Beyoncé’s ‘Virgo’s Groove’: How Three High-School Friends Ended Up Producing a Song on ‘Renaissance’
„Leven Kali: To be honest with you, we also need to respect Beyoncé because I think she has a plan for how she wants to reveal her process and I don’t wanna give away too much about the specifics of how the record was made exactly…“
Documentary coming
its cheapens the song in my opinion cuz she's literally just making stupid noises
still a top song on the album for me though
That verse legendary asf
Y’all gotta loosen up and let people be creative man
There is no “right” way to make music
It’s all self expression and her expression was beautiful in that moment
this album reeks, beyonces melodies sound so unstructured and hard to listen through
Bro really said reeks
What is your criteria for good music?
Also what is an example of an album that doesn’t reek? Make it make sense man cuz you sound crazy as hell ngl

LIBERATED LIVIN LIKE WE AIN'T GOT TIME
I’m probably the only person on this entire forum who reads his reviews, but Robert Christgau (who’s probably the longest running music critic of his prominence and essentially music’s equivalent to Roger Ebert) gave this s*** an A+.
Dudes been reviewing music since 1967 and has only given around 125 of them in total.
