CrimsonArkI’m probably the only person on this entire forum who reads his reviews, but Robert Christgau (who’s probably the longest running music critic of his prominence and essentially music’s equivalent to Roger Ebert) gave this s*** an A+.
Dudes been reviewing music since 1967 and has only given around 125 of them in total.

This is still the best album out this year and it feels kinda surreal that Beyoncé did this album. It is really her best one imo. You can just feel how much fun she had doing it. Tbh Its been a while that a album made me so happy.

I went to a release party that friday it dropped and they played it front to back once, it was amazing lol but I wanna go to an actual “Club Renaissance” now that it’s been out

Definitely agree about that last part, can't remember the last time I've enjoyed an album and listened to it as consistently as this.
