Changed my mind
I think Plastic should be the third and final single. It might get some airplay
The other songs don't really feel like "singles"
Plastic Off The Sofa as the main radio push, America Has A Problem for dance charts with a remix package
as much as I’d kill for a Virgo’s Groove remix 12”
that would be a huge look for FLO but how did that rumor even start floating around months ago lol
the hive started it. we getting Coi Leray instead
It’s undeniable that a sizeable amount of the success of ‘Cuff It’ has involved its strong support at radio and also in sales, but it’s worth noting that it never really had the same ‘peaks’ in streams that other massive hits over the past year have had (usually seen in the +5 million region for daily Spotify streams).
To my memory, I think it only really peaked around 3-3.5 for a short period, so it’s never really been able to clock up the huge numbers you see once you’re breaking around 5 million per day for a consistent period.
However, what is also notable is its absolute refusal to budge whatsoever. I can’t remember the last time I saw it not in the rough range of 1.5-2 million streams per day on Spotify, hence why it’s sticking around so much (the remix is also doing some good supporting numbers). It’s essentially become a staple, well-playlisted track that isn’t skipped by many on the platform, and I think it’s now firmly attained its place as a new GP-favourite in her repertoire that she probably hasn’t really added to in a decade.

I don’t think they’re going for a 3rd single. AHAP is performing good on TikTok/streaming for a while now, by this time they already sent Cuff It to radio (early October). Maybe act II is closer than we think, possibly before tour starts. That would also explain the unbearable lack of any visuals/performances this „era“
I know it’s way more common now for songs to chart longer, but it’s still crazy she achieved this after 20 years in the game. Let’s see if she can maintain this success with the other acts.
