i'd say this album and Jessie Ware's What's Your Pleasure are the most authentic releases of the past couple of years when it comes to bringing back that old sound
but even then, I feel like this album isn't drowned in nostalgia. there's a lot of forward thinking production on here

It’s brings back that feeling I had growing up. Where music made you happy. The influence is there but with a modern twist.
