When are people gonna stop giving beyonce so much credit
Most pop stars don't write their music.
Thought this was common knowledge
I won't speak for LD but I think a lot of people were kind of blown away at the lyrical ability expressed on Violent Crimes. That s*** was raw. It was from the heart. It cut deep and resonated.
Personally, I was relieved after questioning Kanye's ability to still pen a song of that caliber. Then it was revealed that he had basically no hand in writing it. Makes me question every line I've ever heard from him and whether that was a genuine expression from him or a song that someone handed to him on a pre-made platter.

It really wasn’t all that now c’mon, “blow away”
Queen
Lmaoooooo
Ye a real nigga for giving him his credit
Prolly opened up so many doors for him with just that tweet
Violent Crimes verse sucks though
The Scotts
Dot, David, Denzel, Mike, and Pat are all producers. Nice try tho lmaoo
And yes of course I’m aware that Beyoncé doesn’t write her own musix and I’m totally ok with it.
My close friends R City have made cover a million dollars writing for your favorite artist.

Have you heard the beat? lol
a deeply personal song by Kanye and one of his best in so long wasn't even written by him at all?
Listen to the demo
Denial is not just a river in Egypt
Im very aware that Beyoncé doesnt write all her lyrics. Im not denying that.
What Im saying is why do you only have a problem with her having cowriters but not your favorite rappers or hell even other popstars like Lady Gaga or Dua Lipa. This seems to only be an issue when it comes to Beyoncé. Something tells me she threatens your fragile masculinity and your issue with her goes deeper than cowriting credits.
It's dudes writing all this female empowerment rap You know they just doing it for the money too
Im wheezing :
So the original Savage song had Megan, the producer (J White) and Bobby Sessions Jr credited.
The remix added Beyonce, Jay Z, Derrick Milano, Pardison Fontaine, The Dream, and Starrah. (Beyonce + 5 people). Crazy lineup.
What did you expect ??? Did you honestly think that these people write or have any sort of talent for that matter?

It's disingenous to use "fragile masculinity" to defend Beyonce against Lady Gaga stans or whatever.
It's just funny to people that it's mostly men writing these sexual songs from a female POV so it comes off as peculiar.
If Beyonce wrote songs for Pusha T about being a d*** dealer it would be noteworthy too
Do you think MJ was writing his own music??
This isnt news, pop stars rarely ever write their hits
