ARCADE GOONIt's disingenous to use "fragile masculinity" to defend Beyonce against Lady Gaga stans or whatever.
It's just funny to people that it's mostly men writing these sexual songs from a female POV so it comes off as peculiar.
If Beyonce wrote songs for Pusha T about being a d*** dealer it would be noteworthy too

At the end of the day, this entire thread is stupid because artists have been using cowriters since day1. Music has always been a collaborative effort.
May 4, 2020The more writers an artist has the more willing I am to listen to them, music is supposed to be an art, not a competition on who can do it themselves, and the more creativity put into it = more quality into the final product
