They aren’t putting any more funding toward the wall... Funding was temporarily cut and work on the wall was halted for 60 days in January when Biden took office. The construction was already in contract and essentially paid for under Trump, so they are working on ways to legally divest from that.

This is in the news because the 60 days were up at the end of March and now there are discussions and speculation about what will happen going forward.
