Tyler has always been supremely talented and has a cult of personality which is a huge aspect of longevity and keeping his original base in for the ride.
His maturity also started catching up to his talent, which was huge for him.
Also very sharp product man. Camp Flognaw to the Golf brand. Within LA, he’s staple. Kinda a continuation of Pharrell lane (not saying he’s Pharrell) but he grew up with us who loved Pharrell and skating and Supreme when we were kids.

Does he have cringe bars to present day? Sure but they're not nearly as prevalent and the point was that people choose to highlight those cringe lines and ignore how great of an MC is. I don't even need to go through Drake or Ye's catalogue you already know what it is, but for some reason we hang onto Sean's bad lines lol

typically those people will not be posting online about their fave artists but you can see his shows are sold out and his albums sell. Idk what that poster is going on about Detroit 2, a gold album during COVID is great

Nothing has been the same for him since that Double or Nothing album with Metro, which was wayyy overhated to me.
Nevertheless, he has a legendary back catalogue so his name will always ring off, he'll always be able to tour, do festivals, the whole nine but he's done commercially and even he knows it that's why he's been so scared to drop.
