the point of picking that line is to show that even though sean has given some good albums to the culture he's also contributed a lot of corny / trash bars

probably part of why he's not considered a top 5 type of rapper

    “this d*** ain’t for free”
“you think you the s*** but you can’t outfart me”
“got so many chains they call me chaining tatum”

you can do this for any artist

The youth can learn alot from those 3 albums but they would rather listen to YB. It's just indicative of the current culture we live in.

Yean i’m not rolling wit you just naming homie’s albums as contributions to the growth of black society but okay lol Was expecting some actual actions that I wasn’t aware of

And It ain’t just the youth that would rather not listen to big Sean.

He was on the path imo. It’s that tape he did with Metro that derailed his progression. That project had like 2 decent songs, everything else was a miss. Felt like a massive regression.

"Pussy so good, I never f*** you in the ass"

Every rapper has bars like this.

But does every rapper have memorable bars like this?

Y'all still remember bars from 2010.

And 100% "Double or Nothing" was a regression from "I Decided". It felt like he started smoking and rapping without a purpose.. idk what was going on in that era.

I hope yall realize the real big 3 for most of the 2010s was Drake Kendrick and Fewtch, not Cole. Only forums and twitter push the Cole over Fewtch narrative.

Cole has literally headlined like 4 consecutive arena tours wth are you talking about bruh

If we talking about straight rap prowess and not who's "bigger".

Big Sean is only number 2 to Kendrick Lamar.

Big Sean really gets busy as a rapper that’s crazy

    Good post

    big 3 isn't really real
    if anything it's a top 5
but to answer your question generally I think Big Sean is more known for his singles and that doesn't mean he's not a top tier rapper. just doesn't get a lot of hype for his albums the way a Drake or Kendrick Lamar does

I still think he's top 6 mainstream rappers of his generation

    Good post

I’m starting to think you people don’t even enjoy music anymore and just try to place someone on a numbers board with every listen let it go

Modern NBA commentary in a nutshell

  • If he was dropping DSP, I Decided and Detroit 2 quality s*** in 2011-2014 other than the Detroit mixtape then yeah probably but I feel like he peaked a little later than Drizzy, Cole and Dot

    Cause he was always average
