G Unit did not work my guy. Those artists were relevant for maybe a year. Roc a Fella also didn't work, only artist that was really working was Jay lol

Yes they did. Everyone on there, even f***ing Tony Yayo all went platinum on their debut albums.

G unit as a label!! not a group, they were undeniably successful as a group. a 5-to-20 ratio of successful artist for a label isn't successful

All the albums they dropped went Platinum except for Banks last 2 albums and Mobb Deep, who all went Gold.

    No it isnt.
They had a successful compilation album but individually, none of the Dreamville artists are popping.

That album did more for Buddy and Guapdad then anybody actually on the label.

You know how many artists get signed and dropped by labels?

I'm talking about their discography as a label, the actual albums they released.

Every album.that was released on G-Unit went platinum or gold.

You can only count an album.that flopped as an L

Dreamville hasn't had a big artist yet I think Ari Lennox got the farthest but she was a one and done after BMO.

Ari career is just getting started what you mean

Who cares about the losses? Every label has failed acts

G-Unit had an impactful run and as a label they were successful.

    Until.they weren't.

Difference is most artist labels dont have the financial backing the majors have so when the hits slow down they have to scale way back or shut down completely. The old labels will always be around in some form or fashion.

Roc a fella was definitely successful lol

  • Bro said dreamville then said OVO trash 🤣🤣🤣

  • NEW EQUITY

Big Sean one of the top guys in this era. I think he can pull off a label and it be successful

Hes not one of the top guys tho.

Hasnt been for around 5 years.
