S***, there are none. If you dont dance and make EDM type type s***, its quiet for you.

I'm just saying they havent cultivated an image or identity for Party and at this point he should be established.

Hes almost like a new artist.

Party makes his bread writing for others and he seems very content with that and I don’t blame him. He gettin the bag gifting songs to riri and drake

glorified writer/producer collective, care to expand on that? what does that entail?

I think the roster's best work is when they are influencing or using their talents or on a Drake album, and the label itself isn't a big presence when it comes to the artists' solo work anyway.

    dudes weird

  • You gotta have an ear for talent. A lot of artists are not self aware enough to hear something and help them build a career.

Thats why very few people can actually do it effectively

cool. from your "i think", we agree that the quality of their solo work vs their work for/with drake is a subjective opinion.

now what's your metric for "big presence?" album sales? streaming service listeners? social media platform popularity? everyone has their own way of determining it so i'm curious.

G Unit did not work my guy. Those artists were relevant for maybe a year. Roc a Fella also didn't work, only artist that was really working was Jay lol

Lloyd Banks - 433k fw in 2004, 140k fw in 2006. On Fire, Karma, Beamer Benz or Bentley 2004-2010.
    Young Buck - 360k fw in 2004, 140k in 2007. Five top 40 appearances from 03-06.
Game speaks for himself. Tony Yayo did 200k first week and went platinum. Lil Scrappy got a hit.

How many labels have 6 artists having hits and selling records over a 7 year period? They only dominated from 03-05, but they continued having successes until 2010.

Well it would be weird if I said "objectively" lol

Presence to me is how much commercial/critical success something has. Albums can have little presence when outlets/blogs are discussing best albums of the year but be amongst the best sellers of the time (ex: Hollywoods Bleeding) or lots of buzz on blogs and s*** but chart very low (ex: Pray For Paris)

well we're on ktt, people like to think they speak objectively. just pointing out the difference between you and them.

do those other things i mentioned come into play at all for you? what about tour performance? opportunities within the industry? the basic ability to work and put out solo material period? if we're looking at success as a whole i think there are a lot of factors that can be taken into account.

have you read thru the OP and the responses given before saying this? cause Roc/G-Unit/Shady etc. all had biggers artists and way, WAY more successful releases than Dreamville.

so. yeah. it is that hard to understand.

I wasn’t even talking about dreamville or ops opinion you loser
