After Dark Sky Paradise maybe even before. GOOD just refused to promote any of its artists. DSP could’ve been bigger than it was
DSP was a big album lol you couldn't not hear his music going outside and people liked him his collabs just became flops. berzerk was supposed to be a big single but it just never caught traction

at one point he was THAT DUDE like one of the biggest rappers. he wasn't doing drake numbers but very few people were doing big sean numbers he was bigger in 2015 than playboi carti or polo g are now. he dated some really high profile celebrities and honestly probably couldn't have been bigger but that's not a knock on him his last album went number 1

This is the point exactly: Big Sean with or without Ye always dropping fire.
I Decided is a album with almost zero contribution from Ye and to me is the best thing that Sean ever dropped but y'all are not ready for this conversation.
The same thing happened to Cudi in INDICUD. He dropped Good Music and made the best productions ever made by himself solo. But once again: y'all are not ready for this conversation too.
