my memory is a bit fuzzy but is the lack of info that bad compared to the previous releases?

feels like this time around we just got hyped without any word from drake himself and only because of a guy who got lucky just once with some insider info during dark lane

he released laugh now cry later just a month ago so it's not even been that long

You’re right I think he is alluding too drake specifically saying summer 2020 but to me that is a real date I called those dates like those “subject to change dates “ so we can’t be too mad LNCL was released a month ago but you got to think last update was 90 and that was from 1nda and Noel on July 30 we almost two months out from that with LNCL being out a full month and some change already so I understand his frustration guess we got to see how it plays out . It’s definitely releasing if it wasn’t he would of been said it’s a delay . He didn’t say June 2018 like he did with scorpion so it has its flaws but let’s wait and see hopefully I pray we get some news next week . If not then it will be annoying and worst case screnatio we get news first week in October and then the release saying October 23rd then that’s another month almost we got to wait hopefully that doesn’t happen but 🤷‍♂️ But the fact he is doing everything else from being active and live on ig and not giving an update is a little annoying I’m ngl but I’m stay positive and patient for 🦉 gang

NWTS had like a 1-2 week delay as well but nothing crazy

He’s given seasons before but this is especially odd considering the overwhelmingly positive response from LNCL. I think it’s one of his best songs to date to be honest.

To let that hype die without providing some sort of structure is a questionable decision. I have a feeling though there’s something behind the scenes that’s forcing him not to show his hand yet. (Ie. Kendrick / Cole / Kanye)

I’m a drake fan to the death, I think what he’s done is remarkable not just musically but culturally and morally.

The only issue I’ve ever seen him deal with as an artist is his relationship and communication with his fans. I think there’s an aspect of it which is played well (you don’t want to be too close) but there’s also an aspect of it where he notoriously leaves us in the dark. For large amounts of time after stating something and not following what he’s said. But then he will clear up random rumors on his IG story?? It seems backwards to me.

I think this rollout is the one where I’m over the whole lack of communication etc after giving a time. Hope he proves me wrong

Ong your right but he has gotten better though with communication with the fans cause when someone asked on here how much he has completed he dropped 80% on his story on ig. Soon as some asked he did that and with the 90% the problem and the frustration comes with lack of info. We can’t be mad at him cause no other fan base has eaten the way we have not counting leaks cause he ain’t do that . I agree with you tho . Maybe something else is into play
