I said that as a joke, lmao. Maybe I should have added an lol. And it's not impossible. Drake has a long history of moving album release dates, which is even more possible now because he hasn't given us a release date yet. All he's done is drop a single and given us the album title.

I'm ready for the album now. I just agreed with FREEBIRD in saying that everything boils down to Drake at the end of the day so everyone trying to give some scoop on when he'll drop can always be potentially wrong.

If he wants, he can drop the album this Friday or next Friday or next month or even next year. Only Drake knows what he'll do at the end of the day. That's all I was saying, lol.

People thought he was dropping at the Grammy's deadline because Akademiks said it. This one is actually been verified by someone close to Drake, which has significantly more accuracy than that clown Akademiks.

I actually saw people saying he would drop before the Grammys deadline before Akademiks, lol. Akademiks saw that and then repeated it.

Drake told certain people he would be dropping a mixtape. If I remember correctly, an NBA player even leaked that Drake would be dropping a tape in January (it eventually dropped in February, but still). With Elliott, he told him the day the tape would drop, the name of the tape and everything. Only Elliott had that scoop (or he was the first to spill it).

The Wos guy really isn't an insider, neither is he "close" to Drake. He knows people who know Drake and he learns about certain stuff through them. It's the same for most of the people that get linked here when they hint at Drake dropping stuff like srdtv.

My point wasn't that Wos was lying or making stuff up. All I said was that even with certain people getting info that Drake might be dropping at a certain date, things can always get moved around at Drake's discretion. There's a reason Wos didn't give an exact date on when it would drop. He doesn't know for sure.

Many people we believe are "insiders" or are "close to Drake" really aren't, lol. Look at Lowkey who previewed that Drake song and the story he told on his podcast about how Drake messaged him and asked him who he got it from. Same with Joe who said he heard a Drake song he wasn't supposed to hear. None of them got that directly from Drake. Even though some of them may have interacted with Drake before, it doesn't mean he's sharing intricate details about his album with them. They just happen to know people who know people who know Drake who might spill certain stuff to them from time to time.

I'm saying this because some of those people like to exaggerate their proximity to Drake and we should all just keep an open mind that the only person with the final say on when anything drops is Drake himself so we should take any "info" from anyone other than him with a grain of salt.

With that being said, I'm ready for the album to drop, whenever Drake is ready to drop it.

I'm not saying he got this right from Drake, just that this is by far the closest we've had to a legitimate confirmation of a release date. Obviously its ultimately up to Drake, but at least we have something now.

I get you, but we have all been speculating that Drake would drop in September for weeks now. Before LNCL dropped, people were saying he would drop the entire album without pushing a single first. Some other people are speculating he'll drop in October. Now some people are saying he'll drop another single and then drop the album right after that. It just seems to me that we're all just making our best guesses and eventually, someone will be right, lol.
