Personally, buying to fit in with trends rather than having a timeless/personal style.
Example; any/everything Kanye wore/created :)))
so ur example is the entire modern fashion industry, that really narrows it down
already talked about it but it was buying off white shirt full priced
What's off white like? Always wondered what the quality is like for the price.

its alright but way overpriced i had shirts for 1/4 price which i thought were better. None of my shirts i currently own costs more then 100 dollars i put my money into outerwear
OW fits oversized and is made in Portugal

I'm sure I've seen people say it's just screen printed stuff on blanks but that might be BS
when i first was getting into clothes i was so desperate to get super harshly tapered pants to the point where i would alter them myself and they looked like s***
i used to try and layer like 3-4 longline tees under each other
but more broadly it was trying to dress like inspo pics i had seen and copy others instead of biding my time and building a personal style. i feel like that isnt something that can be explained to you tho. you have to realise it yourself
Prolly back when I use to match my shoes to my shirt color for color, s*** just looks goofy
i got into clothes during the yeezy fog era, so it made me think superskinny was the normal skinny.
took me a while to realize skinny wasn't that tight and to get comfortable in slim and wider pants
Thinking that graphic tees and popping colors were childish. That everything needed to be monochromatic, overly structured and fairly plain outside of material.

This is not bad
Probably beard without moustache, not really fashion misstep, more of a personal style misstep
I looked like a Chechen separatist
Thank f*** I was broke when I was young and stupid, would definetely rock some long ass t shirt with ultraboosts if I had money back then
