sucks ya fav cant sell lmao.

Only a spineless weirdo would let some charts determine his "favs".

They are still more successful than your whole family tree btw, so don't get too bold okay?

ppl itt trying to disagree with numbers

there is almost no value in talking or arguing about numbers anyway since the biggest artist of any given yr isn't always the one who sold the most but had a bigger cultural impact. like, drake had no impact on hip hop in 2018 regardless of how many streams nice for what has.

    what are you disagreeing with

You just sat here and said Drake, who completely ran hip hop in 2018, didn’t impact the genre in any way possible

    That doesn’t even sound logical

Hip hop fans don't rly buy albums like pop fans. A "hip hop" artist like Drake outselling say future is a reflection of how much more pop Drake's fanbase is not of his relevance in hip hop.

For example 2015 Drake has iyrtitl which is huge but is that really bigger in the culture compared to DS2 and monster? Drake gets crossover support from pop fans while future is totally hip hop and even if sales support Drake more future is probably more influential/liked within hip hop
