37 top 40 hits indicates longevity lol

white iverson came out 7 yrs ago, dude ran the pop charts for like a good 3-4 yrs i think

ITT people dont realize how rare it is to do tours like drake or kendrick does in recent times for a rapper (post malone aint a rapper)

99% rappers aint selling out a 50+ show
tour at full capacity, let alone doing that every 2 years for a decade and still having 100% demand

Literally the only rappers who can do that currently is kendrick and drake and maybe Cole but even then cole and kenny aint doing tours like that on a consistent basis

Even look at trav who you can argue is potentially top 3 in terms of selling power for music, yet his most recent tour hes cancelling shows due low capacity numbers, resellers flooding the market with below retail prices after demand plummeted for some shows (edit: corrected as trav never cancelled any shows just resellers not being able to sell the tickets so capacity was low, trav still gets the bag tho)

Ye could pull it off still tho

Nah, the tour is his most successful yet. Projected to clear around $80 million in revenue and about 500K+ tickets sold.

He’s also the first rapper to ever headline and sell out SoFi Stadium

Guess its just retail demand was low so resellers took a massive loss having to sell below market value

Guess if its sold old tho trav still gets the bag either way just resellers lose out

His most recent tour, The Off-Season Tour, grossed over $18 million and 164K tickets sold, but he only did 20 shows

You still beating this drum even after you were wrong about him being able to do a full stadium tour

Those tickets were selling for $5

And the Raleigh show did get postponed. Not "cancelled" yet but there's no new date and I doubt it ever happens

It got postponed due to the NC State Fair, I live in Raleigh and traffic that first night with the concert and the fair happening at the same time was hectic.

Yes I was wrong about it being a full stadium tour, but that was the original plan for it, as evidenced in the K-Pop music video. And he’s still doing two shows at SoFi, and is the first rapper ever to both headline and sell out a show there.

The $5 tickets were resell prices, not retail. Resellers getting f***ed over is inarguably a great thing, because fans get tickets for ridiculously cheap prices and scammers get no profit.

The $5 tickets show a lack of demand point blank period. Trav got a bailout

No, it shows a lack of people willing to pay ridiculous prices to go to a concert. It’s not a good thing that fans pay upwards of $300+ for resold concert tickets, f*** a demand.

He didn’t get a bailout at all, he made his money either way

They couldn’t even sell them for sticker price. People weren’t willing to pay even $60

The $5 tickets are resold tickets, meaning the retail tickets were already bought, meaning Travis already made his money

That’s why I’m saying he got bailed out by resellers that overestimated the market. Why weren’t resellers able to sell the tickets for what they bought them for at least? Cause nobody was buying

However you wanna frame it, it’s his most successful tour so far in his career. Whatever way you wanna belittle that really does not matter
