You corny for that new black s***, I saw you push that lame ass narrative about TPAB before
You ever been on your first tour and had a homie die and another go to jail, being uncomfortable as f*** in a world that doesn’t feel catered to you but knowing your old world is toxic?
That album perfectly gives the blueprint on how to manage s*** like that
Aint nothing new black about that, those are real issues that are always around in our community. And I was born in September 2000, just a couple years after you iirc so lets go to the white board and try a better approach.

Are we not having a conversation amongst 2 real niggas? Let me know if I was mistaken in my thought
Since when have real niggas moved off of the non real in forming they opinions?
This is my Brain and your brain pause, f*** all the other niggas.
Just because certain niggas attached to it dont take away from the message

Bro my brain tells me TPAB was a great album but didn’t impact my world more than dirty sprite 2. This my truth bro niggas I grew up with was NOT bumping that alvum in 2015 AT ALL. I saw that album the most when going to college campuses and Internet forums. If anything I’m more mad a Nigga like future ain’t top 10 cause the impact people say kendrick has this decade is really wht a Nigga like future had. It’s a great album but even in resrosprxtni feel like people like GKMC DAMN or section 80 even more like it served it’s puspose but I think rarely go back outside of momma and like institutionalized
Future 35 is just insane
Niggas put big pun fat abuser ass over future

Thats YOU though bro, and thats honestly not as many people as you think it is.
Me I like to think with my music and relate to the content, Kendrick put a lot of relatable experiences into that music and did it in a truly amazing way. Not to mention the sound is some of my favorite production ever. And all my niggas irl felt the same, we heard it together for the first time. And none of us is no “new black” niggas we come from Militant parents, activist grandparents, my great grandmother built my city.
TPAB and Kendrick in general is this s*** in it’s purest, hip hop started as a platform to give a voice to the voiceless and have social content in the music. That doesn’t take away from an artist like Future because hip hop evolves and his name is fitting hes the evolution. The problem comes from the disrespect in your constant discussion of Kendrick, you make it sound like speaking about the things Kendrick speaks about is corny and only white people wanna hear it, its probably a young black kid in his room right now who wants to really talk that s*** but now feels like it pointless or corny because he got niggas saying the type of s*** you saying to him.
We gotta keep a balance in this s***, and the respect has to remain for hip hop to stay united and ours, we shouldn’t disrespect a nigga like Future artistry but also you shouldn’t downplay what Kendrick did on TPAB. That s*** means a lot, to some real ones. Its corny niggas listening to everything, u out your mind if you dont think its corny niggas who listen to Future but that doesn’t define it.
Black people pushing against thought and message like that’s corny and not what black people wanna hear is brain wash that you fell for.
Black people are the original thinkers, the original introspective ones.
You can never reduce an album like TPAB to some s*** for white people or corny niggas.
Thats YOU though bro, and thats honestly not as many people as you think it is.

The way I see it, is like TPAB is beautiful to me because it essentially is the origin of where hiphop came from. Voicing the struggles of the people and displaying the beauty of it. Essentially that’s why having the blues and jazz be the back bone of the project heightens the quality even more. The blues basically birthed every genre we see today

Thats what I’m saying bro, like I took shrooms during the most stressful time of my life, and shed real tears to this album. If a nigga rather listen to DS2 thats his lifestyle i get it, but i cant just sit and let a nigga play with the album that means the most to me.
I understood every emotion he felt, navigating a white rich industry as a black kid from the inner city losing your wide eye as you get further and further. The guilt of close friends going through s*** while you can’t be there for them or help them, that s*** almost broke me. Family trauma, bro i dealt w so much family s*** in the last couple of years I couldn’t even begin to type it up and Kendrick was saying some of that s*** word for word.
A white kid could never even RELATE to that album so trying to give it to them is crazy, they admire that album because they admire US and that album represents a lot of us very well.
I be outside too and I meet people all the time who that album means a lot to.
