Cool. I also like it. It's a nice tune. I'm just saying it isn't some grandiose track with a heavy meaning.

The hook is even stronger than Kendrick's verses because he's just rapping about whatever in his verses. The hook is what ties it all together.

A lot of songs on DAMN. are like that. Grandiose song title, weak Kendrick verse. One of my best songs on the album is FEEL. I feel like that's one of the few songs that delivered on its title.

Love didnt have to be a grandiose track full of double entendres, its a f***ing love song, and the verses do match the title and the hook, you dont even have to read too much into it to get this.
Also point out these "mediocre" verses that dont match their songs because that's a first for me, ive never heard this criticism for this album

HUMBLE definitely has s*** to do with it's title, he's bragging on the verses because fame is catching up to him but uses the hook to tell himself to be stay humble lol

Definitely. It’s the ego. When you look at the song titles on this album, these are all my emotions and all my self-expressions of who I am. That’s why I did a song like that, where I just don’t give a f***, or I’m telling the listener, “You can’t f*** with me.” But ultimately, I’m looking in the mirror.

It's a subtle shot at Big Sean too obviously but it works into the album perfectly
