You know I love you as a poster and respect your opinions, but what does “substance” even mean in this instance? Kinda feels like a buzzword to me at this point. If a song is catchy then what’s the problem? If you’re talking about subject matter, you could argue some of Drizzy’s best songs like God’s Plan don’t have much substance but they’re well-written, catchy songs
