I don't know if her team is pushing this. I think she's doing it herself.
Her team can't be doing it because although she is innocent of blame. All the people who allowed this to happen are not.

Its okay to hate on Drake, Weeknd, JB, etc but if you said some off-brand, anti-Canadian ass s***, we’d have problems.

There's a fundamental flaw in the way you viewed what just happened.
I was trying to understand his position when he said "brain development" and I merely asked for some type of source to back up or explain what he means by "brain development", specifically the amount of development between 18 and 21 and the differences at all of those ages.
Just because you mostly agree with someone doesn't mean there isn't value in trying to determine why you don't agree on the things that you don't agree on.
I really don't even care that you butted in. The thing that made me annoyed is when you came in and just said to "google it lol", as if anybody with half a brain would take you seriously the moment you type that.
It's not the responsibility of the person not making the claim to google the argument of the person who is making the claim when they're actively discussing. If I wanted to do research, I'd do research. Instead I'm asking him to explain his point. A good way to get people to change their mind is to get them to try to articulate their point - because sometimes they'll realize that they don't actually have a solid foundation or anything to back up their position.

Everything a major artist does is coordinated by a team, they probably just know that the family’s wrongdoing will be overlooked or explained away somehow or don’t care if the family gets dragged a little.

true, the onus usually does fall on the person making the claim
but he was arguing with a (borderline?) pedophile (NiceLikeChrist) when you were the one who interjected on that conversation
he didn’t have to back up anything he said to you, because he wasn’t making those original points to you
if NLC had asked for that proof, yes, the onus would fall on DavidP
but with you as a third party asking for proof, the onus falls on you
