It really is. Bought it on a whim 3 years ago and was mind blown. Just incredible gameplay ,really is one of my favourite games of all time.

I wish I got more into it. Never played it until I was super into Hades shortly after that released but it always just made me go back to Hades

I'm sure if I picked it up again now id be way more into it

Yeah man it's a lot of s*** in that game lol and that's before you get into the mods (a fair amount of them endorsed by the Isaac creator himself) that are also very well done

I’d say it’s the second best, with a strong power gap between it and TBoI. Worth playing

I haven’t even played repentance yet lol I’m still chewing on the prior DLC but apparently it’s a game changer

I would actually wait out if you inexperienced in Isaac. Repentance makes the game significantly more challenging and I am not just talking about the new floors and bosses.

Basically I wouldnt install it as a beginner cause all of Isaac will kick your butt even more

is it specifically better on pc? I played on switch and really like indies in handheld mode

It’s best on pc for mods alone but I’m like you and prefer portability so switch is my preference

Yeah same I have stardew on both but have honestly barely played it on PC, but have like 400 hours on switch (and like 750 on PS4 from when it came out)
