I tend to stick to dating other bi ppl as a result of this, idk, so many gay men and straight women seem to just be awkward about it to a point that it’s not even worth it lol. Not saying that I would dismiss gay men/straight women entirely, I have been w/ both, I just prefer knowing I don’t constantly have to rationalise my sexuality to a partner.

It’s a preference and yes everyone has the right to that preference, nobody is owed someone else’s love, I think there’s no point in wasting time on people that have that preference anyway.

But let’s think critically for a second here, that preference is 100% rooted in bigotry/biphobia, like I’m sorry if you like everything about someone, you click perfectly - but hold on they happen to be attracted to the same sex, that is the thing that makes you go “no I do not wanna date this person”, for whatever other reason can you ascribe this other than biphobia?

It’s a preference, people are allowed to have that preference, you can’t force anyone to date who they don’t wanna date, I agree but we can also point out how this preference is deeply rooted in biphobia that is a result of stereotypes created about queer men.
