Hmm. Some of the songs sound pretty nice, especially the piano ballad May sings. Idk though, Isaac's vocals were so unique and took the feeling to another level. I'll reserve judgement until I hear a studio version of these songs though.

Nah I disagree, not even just the vocals, guitar sounds almost nonexistent now. It's all much "lighter". Also even the vocals, especially the female ones, are a downgrade in a very noticeable way bc of how "contemporary" (i guess, I'm not sure if that's the word i'm looking for though) they sound, which is a huge f***in contrast to Isaac's.
I can appreciate what they're doing but it's not for me and I'm not gonna pretend to like it just bc I liked their first 2 albums.

To be fair to the band, they had very limited time to write up and compose most of these new songs as they had festival and tour commitment dates and needed to have the material ready by then since they didn’t feel it was right to perform any of the Isaac-led songs. Given what they came up with, I’d say it shows they’ll be just fine without Isaac.

Also they’ve already come out and said in a recent interview that a majority or maybe even all of this new material from the concert film will not be on their next album
