@Unwound bcnr starting this new era off with a bang
as if there was any doubt
Damn wasn't expecting new songs so soon
About to listen
Love when bands are able to create such a specific mood to their music and overall sound that you are instantly pulled into their world as soon the first song hits

Turbines/Pigs
Ok this is amazing
Somebody know if we get studio versions of this?

deadass was how I felt the first time I pressed play on one of their songs
i hate comparing s***, but this (spiritually) reminds me a lot of Time Fades Away by Neil Young: a live album that consists of only new songs that was recorded during a weird phase for the artist
there’s multiple singers now!
judging their acclaimed album from last year i don't like it,
i've liked Tom Waits records but i don't see the appeal of the OG BCNR vocalist

you’re not the only one. a lot of people don’t fw Isaac’s voice, which is cool i get it…i wasn’t a fan at first but they grew on me
After a couple listens, I can hear a lot of potential in these new tracks. Pigs/Turbine is a jam. They’re still obviously trying to find their footing. Isaac isn’t for everyone, but his lyrics and delivery was at the very least interesting. BCNR will be fine.
My problem is exactly that. The songs aren't bad, but for a live recording, they're too constrained. They didn't even gained a form, are just being presented live, and the quality of the recording don't do them justice.
Idk this sounds much better than most band’s studio recordings to me LOL
the talent and musicianship is still on full display here
Isaac has writing credits on all these songs. Is this just because they’re performing under the same band name, or do you think he had a hand in writing the songs?
Finally listened to Live at Bush Hall
Really enjoyed Across the Pond Friend and Dancers. But I’m really missing Wood on this record.
I can definitely appreciate the talent and ability that May Kershaw has, but she just doesn’t have that magnetic pull that Wood had for me 😕
