What do ya'll think of this trend? I think it really comes down to context, using it for a cheap laugh or pretending to be black is one thing, but two instances that annoyed me were the removal of Scrubs and Community's episodes.

The Dungeons and Dragons episode is one of if not THE best episode of Community and deals with a lot of important issues.

Can't find the actual scene where Shirley calls him a hate crime but he literally says he's cosplaying or whatever as a dark elf.

The Scrubs one is worse since its blatant black face but its hardly shown in a positive light

I guess the idea is to wipe it from the TV history books completely but it comes off pretty virtue signally when you do it so indiscriminately.

Then again maybe a clean slate is better off
