ThisIsMVPWonder if this will satisfy me like Stellar Blade did
A demo would be nice, Shift Up was smart for doing that with Stellar Blade, made it an instant buy.

I need a new game to play, just finished rebirth and the Elden ring dlc, nothing much really coming up has interested me outside of visions of mana (kinda used this year as a backlog time year) might put stellar blade on my list next if it’s really that good

DS2Interesting, as I’ve grown older my tastes have gone the other way tbh. Gameplay over everything
now if this plays like trash and has a bad story that’s a different discussion, but all the footage so far has looked amazingThats what im hoping to see
At this age I dont really be into mindless combat to take the edge off
I still like to be immersed in story / world

I guess I can understand that. Most people just crave captivating stories as they age. I think that’s the appeal of cinematic type games with complex plots.
I’m kinda the opposite. When I get busy in life I don’t even feel comfortable getting immersed in anything. I like to avoid all that s*** and distract myself with simple fun gameplay. I don’t even like complex mechanics that need to be learned because I just don’t feel comfortable dedicating myself that much to something that ultimately isn’t important. I guess what im tryna say is everytime good gameplay can trick me in liking something but if the story was mediocre at best, it still wouldn’t satisfy me

Aug 13, 2024Im a dumbass and didnt realize you could toggle between ultra performance, performance, etc.
Been fiddling. Raytracing obvioudly is a big hit but if i play with raytracing on + 1440p + performance mode i get at least 60 fps.
At 4k its 40 fps.
No raytracing im getting an average of 75fps at 4k.
All high settings. I might pick this up in the future for sure then.

NayutaThe best way to enjoy those stories is from a guy on youtube telling you about them
The average souls player could not give you a start to finish synopsis of the lore in those games because of how they integrate it. Story telling is not at all a strong suit there.
To each their own. I love the environmental storytelling or having stories play out through stretching NPC quests and such
