I've had dreads for 6 years now and I'm feeling the same way I don't see myself having dreads for the rest of my life and the longer I wait, the harder it'll be to let go. Think I'll cut them off at some point before November

I'm tryna be a lawyer, I am not confident about showing up to job interviews with dreads no matter how inclusive and progressive they claim to be I get called rasta almost daily and its wild how people make judgements about me (both good and bad) because of a hairstyle. I just wanted to grow my hair out without having to worry about maintenance everyday, my hair does not make me an all loving, peace promoting, ganja smoker

Loved having dreads but all this and the fact that my hair only looks really good for about 2 weeks after extremely painful and expensive crotchet twisting sessions has me ready to cut

For anyone that's had two strand twists, when washing - do you usually take a spray bottle to the sections and do a soft rinse-out when washing and conditioning or just use shampoo on fingertips and work inside out then do a full wash, etc.?

nah the high fade is forever clean. timeless style, can’t go wrong with it. i used to rock that exact same cut with the waves in middle school / early high school days before i started growing my hair out
