mf really wanted to prove himself again what a goat
the next day is a bit all over the place - kinda like a retrospective sonically sounding album before diving into blackstar a full on avant gardiste album
i think if you cut it down or switch some of the lesser tracks with the amazing songs from the next day ep you REALLY get a two punch knock out come back run
the next day ep lowkey so slept on, on god
this song highkey a hit potential as good as his ziggy stardust hit making days, crazy he didn’t make this a single or even let alone actual album cut

reminder @op @YungPapi @MrIndigo96 that there is STILL 5 UNHEARD new original songs bowie demoed POST BLACKSTAR sessions and material
despite what the marketing has been promoting about the no plan ep as his “final songs” - that was just to sell the ep, they’re not his final songs, they were for blackstar but he had demoed pass that 5 new songs that is still keep being secret, and now you’ve heard of his home demo of ‘tis a pity, you know how good that s*** must be and that he didn’t got any lazy 🙏

I wonder if the label will have big artist feature on them to increase sells. I kind of dont want that

nah don’t think bowie camp would go there, although no plan and the whole lazarus play sounds like that, but that was bowies will
idk when they gone drop it but the streets need it...
man bowie really passed away making new music for us
for himself too, he really didn’t want to go and still had a vision despite how blackstar sounds like that was always his style tho, as much as it’s fitting
Man
Legit cried first time I heard this, the interpolation of the harmonica off Low bro

My first reaction to Low were so interesting, first spin I was like wtf is this second half of the album
But there was this weird nagging feeling that the album wasn’t bad I just didn’t understand it yet so I kept listening and by the 3rd or 4th spin I was hooked (have a similar story for station to station)
Very few artists been able to make me feel like I’m missing something (in a good way) after completing an album

oddly enough my favorite cut from low is a song that didn’t make the album:
this is actually my favorite bowie song of all time, no cap

This s*** is incredible

very ambient and atmospheric, altho he tapped into those productions in that era this one is particularly haunted, hypnotizing almost as if it SOUNDS like it’s possessed by a ghost
truly a record like no other bowie song has ever sounded like 💎
