Like Kanye, I ain’t felt bro in a minute
That’s my idol from the start, he made me feel represented
But when he rocked a MAGA hat, the white folks was with it
Then they kick him to the curb when he went past their limit
I ain’t saying that I’m with it, matter fact I condemn it
But to me that proved something I been feeling for a minute
Yall don’t care about our culture y’all just want to have our image
-Emancipation of Stevie Wonder
I lost more than my mind
My mental been on decline
I thought it’d help to get high
Now I get high all the time
The news just told me I’m doomed
My father said I’ll be fine
So now I been on the search
For any truth I can find
-WISH
You all made good songs
Good work
And the little skits at the end of the songs add a lot to the album
Gonna post some of my fav bars i had on the album
I got no problem with keeping hope
But I need to see results
They gave us the church, so they could neutralize colored folks
From Jesus to selling dope, I hope you been taking notes
The media mind control, and it’s time to leave the cult
-Black Children
They’ll put a knee on your neck and say the d**** did it
They’ll drop a nuke on the kids and we’ll be funding it
They’ll keep a weapon or two that knocks you right our your shoes
And then they go on the news and get to singing the blues
Better pick a side revolution coming
Stand for something or fall nothing
Whats the point in having any substance
When its all over when they press the button
As soon as the plot gets thicker
They distracting us, go figure
Use my voice make the word bigger
But to them I’m just a loud mouth nigga
-Killjoy
spoilers
Learned a lotta things that I never things knew before
But it’s still a lotta stuff that I really want to know
Why we teach kids not to have hope in our lessons
Why we act like the white man is a blessing?
How do dead beat dads live life without depression?
If you didn’t want the baby why’d you smash without protection?
When we pray to God at night can he hear it?
Am I doing music right when I’m speaking from the spirit?
Cause I feel like most these rap niggas do it for the image
I had deep love for it since I heard Can I Kick It?
-SATURN DAYZ
Still way too many niggas scared of being themselves
So I wrote a couple lines and I hope this can help
Your intentions are felt, if you base your whole lifestyle on what others think
Then we probably can tell
Stop flexing bout the money that you really don’t have
Stop bragging bout the burner that you really won’t grab
Leave it all in the past, we can all have a laugh
I’m like Big Boi, Andre a damn outcast

I think you guys songs have always had good rapping
But it seems like on this album there was more of a focus on deeper bars and crafting really polished cohesive verses
Do you think that's true or do you think it just came with experience
i jus gotta say soulmatez is jus such abeautiful song, perfect single choice and the moment it came on during the album i got chills lmfao

It was hella intentional, after CYBERKISS* i noticed people saying our music was shallow and kiddish and that bothered me because on one hand i think we were leaning into irony but i do see some of the criticism as valid. Plus we had a lot going on in our personal life and i wanted to make an album with smart writing and emotional depth
I listened to hella to pimp a butterfly, stankonia, the velvet rope, like water for chocalate, the low end theory, seeing sounds and studied their rapping me and gabe just really wanted to get better at rapping

Gotta say RIP to my brother Bryan
Bryan is one of my child hood best friends who always took good care of me he kept me out of trouble and helped me focus on music. Bro was a protector to the fullest.
He passed away from Cancer in May, i dedicate the album to him. He was there the whole time we were making it, stereotype verse is about him he watched me write it

Based on the single I wasn't expecting to get the album that it is, which isn't a bad thing I think it's probably the most easy listening fun type of song on here and is a good choice for a single.
Cyberkiss definitely felt more like a blast of fun compared to this. I like it and would not criticize it for being "kiddish" but you can definitely tell that the purpose of the music was different. The intent to include topics you guys feel strongly about is definitely noticeable on here and the album feels stronger for it.
Also yeah Gabe was really rapping on multiple tracks here
Honestly knew y'all were gonna go crazy with this one but you guys really ended on the highest note possible with this album. This is amazing bruh @Mitchell yall cooked something special with this one.
